With a degree in Fashion Design and a passion for Costume and Sustainability, my career as Head of Costume for Cirque du Soleil taught me about storytelling through clothing and sparked my passion for helping others harness the power of what we wear to shape and share who we are in a more sustainable way.
My time within the Costume Department has built my expertise in problem solving and critical thinking, most importantly, it has taught me how to be incredibly resourceful when it comes to clothing.
As an eco-friendly costume designer I’ve always been a big fan of vintage shopping, recycling, up-cycling or reworking vintage pieces, as a cheaper and more creative way of keeping garments out of the landfills and cycling through fashionable lives.
Native from Brazil, where I received a Bachelor in Fashion Design, I am a very dynamic and creative person, eager to explore new ideas. Due to the time I have spent working on tour, my multicultural background tends to inspire me and constantly challenge myself in a global level. I am a professional who strives to add emotional, personal and inspirational elements to every project I am part of. Seeking to use my experience as Head of Costume to work in fun, diverse and creative projects, with emphasis in Sustainability.
I love to collaborate with brands that fit my lifestyle. Brands with honest morals pushing the same agenda. I look for genuine partnerships that I believe in, to create quality products I would want myself. Pieces I would recommend to friends. If you would like to work together, please send an email.
